About Blue Stilton Cheese

Blue Stilton is one of England’s most famous cheeses, known for its rich, tangy flavor and beautiful blue marbling. It has a creamy yet crumbly texture and a distinctive, slightly earthy aroma. Made from cow’s milk, Stilton becomes smoother and more flavorful as it ages. It’s often enjoyed with crackers or crumbled into salads and sauces for a bold, savory taste.

Pairings

Blue Stilton pairs wonderfully with pears, apples, and walnuts, and tastes amazing when drizzled with honey or paired with chutney. For drinks, it’s traditionally served with Port wine but also goes well with sweet dessert wines or strong ales.

Fun fact:Blue Stilton can only be produced in three English counties—Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Nottinghamshire—under its Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status. True Stilton must be made following strict traditional methods and have its signature blue veins radiating from the center. ← Back to Home | Browse All Cheeses →
